King Charles: On Sunday, February 11, King Charles of England was spotted publically for the first time since Buckingham Palace announced the previous Monday that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer. The King was spotted attending a church service at St. Mary Magdalene’s church on the Sandringham Estate property. According to the Royal Family, medical professionals have advised King Charles to take a step back from his royal duties since receiving the diagnosis. In his first public remarks since the news, Charles thanked the public for “the greatest comfort and encouragement” as he faces his health battles.

Middle Eastern Airstrikes: Conflict in the Middle East continues to mount as the US government is suspected of striking multiple nations, including Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. After a US strike that killed a prominent militia leader in Baghdad, the Iraqi Prime Minister stated that the US is attempting to “jeopardize civil peace, violate Iraqi sovereignty, and disregard the safety and lives of our citizens.” US authorities have reported that these attacks were caused by American casualties caught in the crossfire of Iranian-backed militia groups in the Middle East.
